Data and access

Account access and information.

Account information is kept on the IONOS hosting service. The site does not send visitors’ IP addresses to outside services. IONOS receives your IP address to deliver and protect the site.

  1. Information kept

The username, a secure password hash, sessions, password-change requests and teaching records, including submitted work and corrections, are retained. Passwords are never kept as plain text. Limited security records cover sign-ins and approval decisions; IP addresses are used locally for security.

  2. Who has access

Each person can view their own account. The authorised owner approves password-change requests. There is no public registration.

  3. Browser preferences

No cookies are used to collect data for sale; neither cookies nor personal data are sold. Account cookies are used only to keep access secure. The browser can remember the Day or Night theme. There are no analytics, advertising trackers or remote font services. The PDF reader is hosted here too.

  4. Before accounts are opened

The identity and contact details of the data controller, retention periods and arrangements for exercising rights will be set out before real client data is collected.
